Stages Music Arts

Rock Camp Jr. is an awesome adventure for musicians ages 9-12! Campers will build musical skills while having a blast with fellow rockers – hanging out with like-minded kids who love rock-n-roll as much as they do! Kids will hone their instrument chops, learn how to play in a band – working as a team toward a rockin’ end-of-week concert for friends and family! Most importantly, they’ll have a blast! Beginners welcome!

A typical day at Rock Camp looks like:
• Campers arrive at 9 AM and enter our one of world-class recording studios
• Those who bring their own instruments set up for the day (if a camper does not have an instrument, we can provide one)
• Campers & the instructor jointly select songs to work on for the day - some may even choose to compose original material
• Instructors spend the morning helping campers map out songs and learn their parts
• Campers will take a lunch break, ideally outside weather permitting
• Afternoons are spent rehearsing and fine-tuning songs selected by the group and perfecting individual parts
• Campers finish for the day, pack up gear and head home at 3 pm
• The final day of camp (Friday) campers will finish up before lunch and enjoy a Stages provided pizza party for lunch, then play a rockin' final show for friends & family at 2:30 pm.
