Robot Academy

Turn your child’s love of LEGO into a passion for STEM (science, technology, engineering and math). Instructors inspire students to become engineers, programmers, inventors and entrepreneurs. Robot Academy is Columbus’ original LEGO Robotics and STEM camp. Our founders won the First Lego League World Championship two years in a row (first place in robotics out of 10,000 teams) and have also won numerous national invention and science competitions. Robot Academy opened over 15 years ago and has taught thousands of young students. Many of our camp graduates have gone on to win their own international championships. It’s the ultimate STEM experience. Registration includes a Robot Academy t-shirt.

Gather together with other LEGO fans for a full-day camp to build LEGO robots and then learn to program in Scratch programming language using sensors and logic for epic robotic challenges such as BattleBot. No experience necessary. The LEGO robot can be purchased so you can take your programmed robot home. LEGO Robots come with a remote, light sensor and ultrasonic sensor. Ready, Set, Go LEGO!

Explore the exciting world of robotics by engineering and programming LEGO Robots to solve numerous engineering problems before going head-to-head against other robots in exciting and educational engineering competitions. Utilizing the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) framework, LEGO Fans will learn valuable fundamentals in engineering and programming.
