The Miami Valley School

Improv (9th – 12th)

Camp Description
Do you dream of performing like Will Ferrell, Jimmy Fallon, and Tina Fey? Are you a fan of Saturday Night Live, Key and Peele, or Whose Line Is It Anyway? Then it's time to learn the basics of improv comedy! Through a variety of group games and longer scenes, students in Improv will study all aspects of comedic acting: setups, punchlines, and everything in between. Whether you're counting down the days until your television debut or just want to build confidence and make new friends, improv is for you! Teacher: Tyler Benedict

Whether you're exploring our immersive learning method for the first time or are already a member of The Miami Valley School family, summer camps give your student a chance to reinforce the skills learned over the school year, explore favorite subjects through deep experience and prepare for the next year while having fun. Join us this summer and see why here, they become. The majority of our summer camps are run by MVS faculty ensuring one-to-one attention from faculty that are experts in their fields.

Our camp offerings range from 3-year-olds to seniors in high school, with each camp customized to provide an optimal learning experience for each student around the subject of her choice. Unique to MVS, Immersion method is rooted in the research that students learn best when their learning is rooted in experience and master educators guide students to explore, connect, share and reflect. From cooking to science exploration to real-life problem solving in a boat on the river, our students make the world their classroom during summer camp.
