Theatre Denton Theatre School

Join us as we create theatre magic! From auditions to rehearsal to construction to production, we do it all in 3 weeks ending with a 60 minute JR. musical completely produced by our campers, both actors and technicians. Our goal is a theatre family who work together to bring our musical to life!

This summer as we'll produce Disney's 'Aladdin, Jr.'! Ages 9-12, entering 3rd grade through entering 6th grade, are welcome to join us! Classes are from 1pm - 5pm, Monday - Friday starting July 8th and finishing July 26th. Performances will be July 26th-27th at 7pm and July 28th at 2pm!

From the audition process to choreography to music to design and construction we put together a full production culminating in a 1 weekend run, July 26th - 28th at our Denton Theatre Annex inside Golden Triangle Mall.

The story you know and love has been given the royal treatment! Aladdin and his three friends, Babkak, Omar, and Kassim, are down on their luck until Aladdin discovers a magic lamp and the Genie who has the power to grant three wishes. Wanting to earn the respect of the princess, Jasmine, Aladdin embarks on an adventure that will test his will and his moral character. With expanded characters, new songs, and more thrills, this new adaptation of the beloved story will open up “a whole new world” for your young performers!

We hit the ground running, so please wear clothes that are easy to move and dance in, as well as clothes that can get dirty during set construction.
