Robot Academy

Turn your child’s love of LEGO into a passion for STEM (science, technology, engineering and math). Instructors inspire students to become engineers, programmers, inventors and entrepreneurs. Robot Academy is Columbus’ original LEGO Robotics and STEM camp. Our founders won the First Lego League World Championship two years in a row (first place in robotics out of 10,000 teams) and have also won numerous national invention and science competitions. Robot Academy opened over 15 years ago and has taught thousands of young students. Many of our camp graduates have gone on to win their own international championships. It’s the ultimate STEM experience.

Love Robot Wars? Love LEGOs? 3…2…1…BATTLEBOTS!

Students build LEGO Robots and use Scratch programming for several fun challenges including BattleBot. Using the versatile LEGO robotics system, students will step into the world of robotics, as they design, build, and program robots to battle it out in our arenas. This class combines engineering, programming, and inventing together as kids go head-to-head to be the last bot standing. No prior experience is necessary: our instructors will guide students through the process of designing, building, and programming their robot to battle against other bots.
