Los Angeles Maritime Institute

Come live aboard a tall ship, and sail to Catalina Island and points north for a 5 day/4 night experience at sea! Campers are invited to the busy Port of Los Angeles to embark on a journey where they will develop leadership skills, make new friends, gain sailing skills, and discover all the adventures Southern California's beautiful coastline offers. With activities from kayaking and snorkeling to climbing the ship's rigging and hoisting sails, this unforgettable experience will open camper's eyes to new perspectives and widen their horizons.

While this is designed to appropriately challenge campers with or without sailing experience, no prior sailing experience necessary.
