Camp Description
This camp is designed for those returning campers or for those that have experience around horses (not just trail riding). The activities for this camp revolve around previous knowledge gained through past experiences (but we do provide a refresher in the beginning of the camp). All ground activities and riding are still provided at a level that is tailored for each camper. Riders participate in private and semi-private lessons during the week so the lesson can be designed based on the level of riding ability. SEI certified helmets are provided. Students must wear sturdy, closed toe footwear with at least a 1 inch heel for riding. All program materials are included.

More Information about our camps:
Bellwether Farm offers educational and fun summer opportunities for kids of all ages. Our camp programs teach riding and horsemanship – and so much more! Learning horse skills promotes confidence, teamwork, responsibility and leadership in a fun and rewarding environment. We offer riding programs with all sessions designed for maximum hands-on experience. Our program enrollment per camp is kept small (6-8 campers) so we may tailor each camper’s activities to their comfort level. If your child is new to horses (little or no actual contact) we strongly recommend, but do not require, a ground lesson session prior to camp. This will help to provide a confidence-building introduction if needed.

You can attend as many sessions as you want! Discounts are available for those signing up for more than one session. Military, 2nd sibling, 4-H members and buddy discounts are also available.

Please call or e-mail us for additional information. Our camps fill very quickly, so to avoid disappointment, contact us as soon as possible to be included in the fun! **Waiting List is available for any full sessions
